Tara Shannon is a Canadian award-winning singer and songwriter from Russell, ON. In 2017, Shannon launched her longly-awaited album Unfinished, which received praise and critical acclaim in Ottawa, Montreal and most notably Nashville where she also performed in the legendary radio station, 650 WSM AM. The album was followed by her single “Love Me Loud” which ranked number 8 in Indie downloads on the DMDS/Yangaroo charts in Canada during the first week after the release, surpassing hit artists Major Lazer.
Alongside her natural talent and dedication to her musical craft, Shannon is also well known for supporting and giving a voice towards local and national charitable campaigns.
Sam Timmins is a singer/songwriter, live and session vocalist with years of experience on stage and in the studio, providing lead and background vocals for live, performance and studio recording projects. She performs at corporate events, private parties, bars, and festivals in Ottawa and surrounding area. While continuing to write songs and work on her upcoming album, Sam has also travelled to perform in Eastern Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, and various states including Nashville.
R.W. Haller is a singer/songwriter from Ottawa Ontario. With hints of country, folk, and a healthy dose of Rock and Roll his songs are at once familiar yet new and original.
“Really great songs, so many great hooks and melodies, and I love your voice. It's in permanent rotation in our car.” - Ron Hawkins
With the release of his first solo record, Wasted Time, R.W. steps into the spotlight after years of playing alongside many incredible artists as sideman/multi-instrumentalist. Graced by the talents of Sean Burke on bass and Ian Cook on drums R.W. started building this disc upon the solid foundation they put down in the studio. First by adding guitars, mandolin, banjo, and dobro himself, and then enlisting a vast array of talent for keyboards, pedal steel, harmonica, violin, and background vocals.
Songs about love lost, love found, and the love of his country dominate Wasted Time. From toe-tapping patriotism to country soul you’d be hard pressed to not find some common ground with this music.
Afro-Canadian singer-songwriter Kimberly Sunstrum’s sound is a reflection of her culturally diverse family background and musical upbringing. She grew up listening to old-time country music, South African pop hits, American folk and classic R&B. Blending powerful vocal ability, heart-felt lyricism and skillful instrumental compositions, Sunstrum’s performances are energetic and accessible while still conveying an intimate and soulful connection to the listener.
