Jillian Kerr is a singer-songwriter born and raised on the outskirts of Ottawa. Her folky songs can make your heart swell, eyes well, feet tap and your hips sway. Recently having completed a Bachelor of Music Honours degree at Carleton University as well as a Bachelor of Education at Queen's, Jillian has been mentored by notable folk artists such as Ian Tamblyn, Jill Zmud and James Keelaghan. Jillian Kerr is the MusikOttawa industry Showcase Singer- Songwriter winner of 2015. Currently, Jillian has released two Eps; Dreams and Downtown which she debuted on June 24th, 2017 at The Cross on Elgin. Her latest release How to Be Awesome, is a full-length album for kids of all ages written in collaboration with four other artist educators including Juno-nominee Gary Rasberry. The album shares the message of love, inclusion, and getting outside to enjoy nature’s beauty.


Joe McDonald is a singer, song-writer, and guitarist from Ottawa, Canada. His band, The Walkin’ Hawks is a country/blues trio that features Matt Aston on drums and Zach Ledgerwood on bass.

Original material, improvisation, and getting audiences dancing are the top priorities for this hot new act. The band draws their influence from legendary artists like Eric Clapton, J.J. Cale, Townes Van Zandt, Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Allman Brothers Band and Willie Nelson. The groups debut blues album “Underground Rattlesnake Party” was officially released on January 6, 2018. Joe and the WH's are currently working on a new album set to be released in 2019!
